HAFIZABAD: Two women were murdered in as many incidents in the district on Thursday. In the first incident, Maisam Kamal had allegedly murdered his father Nasir Iqbal over a minor dispute some months ago. Nasir Iqbal’s father Batay Khan, brother Nazim Ali and others suspected that Nasir Iqbal’s wife was also involved in the murder. On the day of the incident, Nazim Ali, Batay Khan, Rasoolan Bibi and Fiaz allegedly axed Shahnaz to death at Peer Kamal village. Kassesay police have registered a case. In the second incident, Ikram doubted the character of his sister Najma Bibi. On the day of the incident, Ikram allegedly shot his sister Najma dead at Mustafabad village. Police have registered a case and started investigations.
