Two sisters doused with acid

SARGODHA – Two unidentified motorcyclists threw acid over two real sisters when they were on the way back home here in the remit of City Police the other night.

As per details, two young sisters were on the way back home from a private hospital.
Suddenly two accused, riding a motorbike, sprinkled acid over them.
Resultantly both the sisters received critical burns and were rushed to DHQ Hospital.
However, their family took away them from the hospital for unknown reasons.
On the other hand, the City Police could not register any case of the heinous crime.
The police source informed that no one from the family approached the police for any legal action against the accused.

UOS INAUGURATION: The launching of Echo halter, Cardiology and ETT machines at Medical and Diagnostic Centre of the University of Sargodha will be milestone in the dispensation of healthcare to the public of the region, said UoS Vice Chancellor Dr Mohammad Akram Chaudhry while addressing the inauguration of these machines at UMDC.

Dr Akram Ch pointed out that though diseases had been on the rise with the passage of time, it was mission of the university to provide effective healthcare to the masses at affordable prices.
The UoS VC informed that a 200-bed hospital was also being constructed by the university which would revolutionise the healthcare in this region.

On the occasion, UMDC Director Dr Humaira Akram elaborated that under the supervision Dr Akram Ch, the university management had left no stone unturned for provision of pre-requisite necessities and healthcare facilities at the UMDC.

Renowned cardiologist Dr Fida Sheikh briefed the participants that Eco Halter and ETT machines had been imported from Germany which produced 100 percent accurate results.

UoS Registrar Brig (r) Rao Jameel Asghar, SMC Principal Dr Mohammad Ashraf Khan Niazi, Secretary to VC Abdul Khaliq Bali and a large number of teachers and staff were also present on the occasion.
