Two missing girls rescued within two hours in Dir

Police in Upper Dir swiftly recovered two missing minor girls within two hours of receiving reports of their disappearance, officials said Wednesday. According to police, a complaint was filed at Wari Police Station by Umar Wali, son of Abrar Khan and a resident of Akhgram, who reported that his eight-year-old daughter, Tamanna Bibi, and his nine-year-old niece, Muneeza Bibi, had gone missing from home despite frantic search efforts by their family. District Police Officer Upper Dir, Syed Muhammad Bilal, took immediate notice of the case and constituted a special investigation team led by the SDPO Wari Circle. He also issued urgent directives for the girls’ safe recovery.
