A transgender person was brutally murdered just days before his sister’s wedding in the limits of Faisal
Town police. The victim identified as Zaman alias Palwasha, originally from a village in Bahawalnagar,
was found with his throat slit by an unidentified assailant. According to the FIR filed by Palwasha’s
brother, M Imran, the murder occurred late on Saturday night. Police have registered a case against
unidentified suspects.
