Three held for killing gang-rape victim’s brother

PESHAWAR: The police arrested three supporters of the main accused in the murder case of the brother of gang-rape victim Uzma Ayub during search operation in Gudikhel in Karak, a police official said.

District Police Officer (DPO) Karak, Mohammad Sajjad Khan told reporters in Karak that the police arrested three supporters of Ibrahim Shah during the search in Gudikhel.

He said the operation was carried out in Gudikhel, a far-flung mountainous area located at the junction of Karak, Lakki Marwat and Mianwali districts. “Ibrahim Shah had taken shelter in North Waziristan wherefrom he later shifted to South Waziristan and came to his village in Karak on Eid,” said the DPO.
