Three brothers booked for gang rape of girl

TOBA TEK SINGH: Ahmadpur Sial police in Jhang registered on Tuesday a gang-rape case against three men [brothers] of Kabirwala (Khanewal) who had allegedly abducted an 11-year-old girl in connivance with her elder sister.

Complainant ‘S’ of Mauza Sadhana stated in his first information report registered under section 375A of the Pakistan Penal Code that his daughter ‘R’ who is married in Kabirwala, orchestrated the kidnapping of her younger sister ‘B’.

According to the complainant, his married daughter had come to their [parents] house and stayed overnight. He alleged that his daughter had administered a sedative in the meal to the entire family. When they became unconscious, she called her three brothers-in-law (husband’s brothers) who took the victim to Kabirwala, where they confined her in a house for two days and subjected her to gang rape.

The complainant said the victim managed to escape from their custody and upon returning home, she disclosed her abduction and rape.

A police spokesperson said one of the suspects ‘S’ has been arrested, and raids are under way to arrest the other two as well as the elder sister of the victim.

DPO Muhammad Rahid Hidayat has instructed the investigation SP to personally supervise the case.

In a separate incident in Jhang, the Kotwali police arrested two men on Tuesday for allegedly raping a young fast food delivery boy, along with three accomplices.

According to the police spokesperson, on Monday night, the boy went to deliver a pizza order to the suspects at Marjana Chowk. Both suspects allegedly raped him at gunpoint along with their three accomplices.
