HYDERABAD – A Model Court in Hyderabad on Friday awarded life imprisonment to three persons in a woman murder case. The First Additional Session Judge, Muhammad Ehsan Khan, heard the case and awarded life term to accused Abdul Shakoor Saheto, Fatah Saheto and Qayoom Sahito after they were found guilty of killing a women, who was the wife of accused Shakoor Saheto. The court also imposed Rs200, 000 fine on each and ordered them to pay an amount as blood money to heirs. The court further remarked that the accused would undergo six months more in prison if blood money is not paid by them. The victim brother Noorul Haq Rind had lodged a First Information Report (FIR) at Baldia police station on 18 May 2015.

In his FIR, he had stated that his sister Hafeezan was tortured to death by her husband Shakoor Saheto and two others.
