SUKKUR: Two teenagers were shot dead on suspicions of an illicit love affair (karo-kari) in Ranjho Brar village, Mirpur Mathelo, here on Thursday night.
Mohammad Ali Brar suspected that his cousin Najma, 14, had developed illicit relations with Shahid Brar alias Papoo, 18.
Mohammad Ali, with the help of accomplices, first shot dead Najma and then raided the house of Shahid, putting him to death as well.
The police took the bodies to Civil Hospital, Sukkur, for autopsy. The bodies were later handed over to the relatives.
Ms Hooran, sister of deceased Najma, has lodged a case against Allah Dito, Mohammad Hashim, Wahid Bux, Qurban and Liaqat.
Abdul Karim Brar, father of Shahid Brar, has also lodged a case against Mohammad Ali Brar, Khalid and other accused. The police have arrested two suspects.
