SWDD to conduct survey on women trafficking

KARACHI (APP) – Sindh Women Development Department has decided to conduct an elaborate survey so as to ensure implementation of SAARC Convention on Preventing and Combatting Women Trafficking.

Sources associated with the department here on Thursday said a team of experts or firm, selected on sole basis of merit through open competition, would be assigned the task.

Parameters of the survey were said to be indicated separately and the survey report will be conducted in two phases covering all 22 districts of the province and 18 towns of Karachi.

Local NG0s working in the field were said to be preferred to conduct the survey for which prescribed proforma will be designed highlighting terms and conditions.
