HYDERABAD – An accused involved in the gruesome murder of two women and two children was
killed during a police encounter in Taranda Muhammad Panah.
According to a police spokesperson, the accused had slit the throats of the victims using a sharpedged
weapon within the jurisdiction of Shedani Police Station before fleeing the crime scene.
Police traced the suspect and raided a hideout to arrest him. However, the accused and his associates
opened fire on the raiding party, triggering an intense exchange of gunfire.
During the crossfire, the main accused was fatally shot, reportedly by his own accomplices. Police later
recovered the same weapon used in the killings from the deceased. The spokesperson confirmed that a
manhunt is underway to arrest the remaining fugitives involved in the horrific crime.
District Police Officer (DPO) Irfan Ali Samoon praised the police team for their swift and determined
action and instructed them to apprehend the remaining accused on an urgent basis.
