Seminar on women in business today

LAHORE: Mir Khalil-ur-Rahman Memorial Society (MKRMS), Jang Group of Newspapers, Women Chamber of Commerce and Industries (WCCI) Lahore, and Wateen Telecommunications will be holding a seminar “Top 10 Business Opportunities for Women” at a local hotel today (Monday).

The seminar will feature CEO Wateen Telecom, Naeem Zamindar as its chief guest, in addition to speakers, including Founder of Women Chamber Dr Shehla Javed Akram, Principal Cothem Ahmad Shafique, LUMS faculty member Dr Tanveer Shahzad, Noshin Sarfaraz, President WCCI Qaseera Sheikh, Director Hybrid Technics Eilya Mohsin, Director TTS Global Sehrish Sheikh, Former WCCI President Qazi Afaq Hussain, CEO Labels Anum Javed, MD EAST Rayed Afzal, Consultant and Trainer Art of Living, Tahira Babar, and CMO Solaris Fayeza Kamal.

Chairman MKRMS and senior journalist Wasif Nagi will be presiding over the seminar, whereas Ali Imran, KH Awan, and Shehzad Rauf will also be present. The seminar’s presentation topics include top 10 business opportunities for women, textile industry in Pakistan, electronics assembly and repair, schooling, outsourcing of support services, online outsourcing, alternative energy, health and fitness, food and hospitality, agriculture and dairy products, and E-commerce.
