Security for blasphemy victim

By: Dr ALFRED CHARLES

Karachi: REGARDLESS of further details about Rimsha’s case and her alleged involvement in blasphemy, it is much more important to provide her security in jail.

While producing her in open courts a mishap may occur. The government should provide her foolproof security. After her 14-day remand period, she should not be produced in open courts.

Her case should be heard in jail premises. The local magistrate’s attention, as well as his order, is needed.
