BANNU: A state-run girls’ school was blown up in a village located in the limits of the Huwed Police Station, the police officials here said on Monday. They said unidentified persons blew up the Government Girls Primary School by planting explosives at its building.
They added no casualty was reported as a result of the blast. Militants have been blowing up schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the adjoining tribal areas for the last many years.
