Rs300,000 announced for family of murdered minor
Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and Sindh Home Minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza announced on Tuesday Rs300,000 respectively for the family of a three-year-old girl who was raped and killed two days ago in Noorani Basti, Chakra Goth, Korangi.
This announcement was made by Chief Minister’s Adviser Rashid Rabbani and Chief Minister’s Special Assistant Waqar Mehdi who met with the child’s relatives on Tuesday and offered Fateha. They assured the family that the culprits would be dealt with according to the law. They also promised that the government would provide every possible assistance and cooperation to them.
Meanwhile, taking notice of “Umrah scandal” allegedly committed by a travel agency located in Soldier Bazaar, Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah on Tuesday ordered the CCPO to hold an inquiry into the matter and submit a report to him. Shah also asked the government institutions concerned to identity the culprits involved in the scandal and take immediate steps to acertain the real facts of the matter.
