Karachi: A man facing charges of kidnapping and raping a teenage girl was acquitted by a sessions court inside the Judicial Complex on Monday. Mohammad Hanif was acquitted of the charges of having kidnapped, raped and then killed the girl. His three alleged accomplices are absconding.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Javed Ahmed Kerio, in his judgment, said that the prosecution had failed to prove its case.
