KARACHI, August 07 2005: Police baton charged the rally taken out by the Action Committee of Contract Teachers here on August 6.

The rally began from Karachi Press Club and tried to march towards Sindh Chief Minister’s (CM) House. The rally participants were demanding of regularisation of commission passed contract teachers in the Sindh province.

When the rally reached Zaibunnisa Street, heavy contingents of police stopped it from marching towards C M House.
