Islamabad, 11-Mar-2024 (PPI): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed that the recent situation between the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Bangladesh Cricket Board be resolved, instructing officials to keep all options on the table, with a final decision anticipated by next Monday.
The directive was issued following a high-level meeting in Islamabad on Monday, where Interior Minister and Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, briefed the premier on the matter.
During the discussion, Mr Naqvi also provided the Prime Minister with a detailed briefing concerning the upcoming ICC T-20 Cricket World Cup.
In a subsequent announcement on the social media platform X, the Interior Minister confirmed the Prime Minister's instructions and revealed that a final course of action would be determined either on Friday or the following Monday.
