Hina, a factory worker and a resident of Korangi-2 1/2, told the police that she was waiting for a bus at Korangi bus stop, when a man identifying himself as Waqas tried to talk to her but she refused. On that, she said, the accused Waqas got angry and threw acid on her face and fled. The people gathered at the bus stop took her to the hospital.
