SHIKARPUR – WAHEED PHULPOTO – The New Faujdari police have recovered an ill-fated injured woman, who was declared as Kari by her husband, from the village Ghahnwar Lohar on late Friday night.
According to details, Gada Hussain Lohar, resident of village Mirza Band, had declared his wife namely Ashraf Khatoon as Kari and tried to kill her.
She sustained injuries whereas the family members saved her from Lohar and sent her to her native village Ghahnwar Lohar.
When she reached her native village, her father Mehboob Lohar and uncle Ali Bakhsh Lohar also tried to kill her on the allegations of Karo-Kari.
After receiving information, Station House Officer New Faujdari police station, Ayub Pathan raided the village and recovered injured Ashraf Khatoon.
They arrested her father and her uncle.
Police have shifted the injured woman to district hospital Shikarpur for treatment.
SHO Ayub Pathan told the journalists that police received the information that her father and uncle were trying to kill her.
Police conducted a raid on the village and saved her.
