HAFIZABAD: The Vanike Tarar Police arrested Nadeem alias Deemi and Muzammal on charge of gang raping Salma of Sooianwala. According to police source, Salma Bibi had eloped with her lover Asif of the same village a couple of days ago but on the advice of his brother, Asif abandoned the girl and returned his house but the girl proceeded for Hafizabad.
During the journey she developed friendly terms with the driver of wagon Muzammal, who took her to different places and along with his friend Deemi allegedly gang raped her. After getting her medical examination, the police registered a case against Nadeem and Muzammal.
