Investigators of Airport police held a man on charges of raping a female tenant at Dhoke Chaudrian. The accused has been identified as Abdul Basit against whom a rape case was also registered, he said. According to him, the female tenant lodged complaint with PS Airport that Abdul Basit along with his five unknown accomplices raped her in her house. She said the rapists fled after committing crime. Police arrested the rapist and started investigation. SSP Potohar Division Syed Ali said police would not tolerate violence against women. He said the fleeing culprits would be arrested soon.
