Rawalpindi-A 15-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by a boy with help of his two facilitators in limits of Police Station Dhamial, informed a police spokesman on Saturday.

He said police have arrested the rapist and his two facilitators during a raid besides filing a case against them. The accused have been identified as Ammad (alleged rapist), Zain and Saqlain (facilitators), he added.

According to him, a man lodged complaint with officials of PS Dhamial stating a boy namely Ammad has raped his daughter. He added Ammad committed the crime with help of two of his facilitators. He asked police to register case against the accused and to arrest them.

Police lodged First Information Report (FIR) against troika under section 376 of PPC and began investigation after apprehending the accused, according to police spokesman.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Saddar Division Ahmed Zunair Cheema, in a statement, told that the police had brought the victim girl to hospital for medico legal report where doctors confirmed the incident.

He said police had arrested the three accused. He said police have adopted zero tolerance policy in crime against women and children and action is being taken against those found involved in such heinous crimes.

Meanwhile, a 23-year-old man died while two of his fellows sustained injuries when the motorcycle they were travelling on skid off the road due to over-speeding. The incident took place near Soan Camp on GT Road, said a Rescue 1122 spokesman. He said the rescuers shifted the dead body and the injured men to hospital for medical treatment.

The deceased has been identified as Yaswa Anwar while injured as Laabal (18) and Addan (16).
