PESHAWAR: A 15-year-old girl has lodged a first information report at the Faqirabad Police Station, alleging she had been raped by one Zahid, of Qazi Kelay, in July last, police said.

According to official sources, the class-VIII student of a local school, residing in Chan Agha Colony, said that Zahid- a friend of her brother, took her to his village in July last year, where he raped her. The accused, the girl alleged, threaten her not to tell anyone about the incident as he had filmed the rape that would be circulated among her relatives and classmates if she disclosed the matter.

The girl’s mother learnt about the incident when she got pregnant. The mother took her to the Faqirabad Police Station where a case was registered against Zahid.
