SUKKUR: One person was shot dead by the armed persons, over a karo-kari dispute in village Gullo Ghoto, near Ghotki on Monday.
According to the reports, Mour s/o Usman Ghoto 22 was working at agricultural field, when some armed persons appeared on the scene, shot him dead and fled. On information, the police removed the body to a local hospital for post-mortem, which was later handed over to the relatives. Papoo Ghoto, brother of the deceased, has registered a case with the Ghotki police against five accused including Dodo Ghoto, Sain Dino and others, but no arrest was made till the filing of this report.
The locals have claimed that the murder was the result of karo-kari dispute.
