NWFP’s poor women to get homes

PESHAWAR: Member Awami National Party (ANP) Working Committee Gul Mina Bilal Sunday said that the provincial government of ANP was trying to help poor women generate income and in this connection it would build thousands of houses in different districts of NWFP in collaboration with the donor agencies.

She said this while distributing goods among women prisoners at Peshawar Central Jail, District Jail, Charsadda; District Jail, Mardan, Nowshera; and District Jail, Swabi. Gul said that no society could progress unless contribution by its womenfolk. She said a special package had been prepared with support of the donor agencies for the women serving their terms in different jails of the province.
