MUSAKHAIL: A nomad shot his mother dead in Tehsil Rakhni of Barkhan district on Sunday. Police said a man forced his widowed mother to get married for the second time, which she refused, after which the son opened fire.

The bullet wound proved fatal and she died on the spot.The victim, identified as Bibi Kalan, was travelling to Dera Ghazi Khan from Loralai in the convoy of Kochi nomads. The convoy had stopped for a while in Rakhni.
