KHAIRPUR: A newly-married girl was shot dead here on Sunday allegedly for marrying of her own will. According to reports, Asia Jatoi of Village Khero Jatoi, Larkana, had married to Fayaaz Jatoi of Village Dhandho Jatoi, Taluka Khairpur, a month ago in the court making her relatives enraged who forced the family of Fayaaz to leave her.
The in-laws handed over Asia to her parents who allegedly shot her dead and threw her body in paddy crops. On receiving information, Tando Musti police reached the spot and took the body into custody.
Meanwhile, Fayaaz Jatoi, husband of deceased told newsman that in her absence she was handed over to her parents who killed Asia, while the parents of the deceased were alleging that she was killed by her husband’s family. Police have not register the case till the filing of this news.
