Mystery shrouds death of woman

SUKKUR: A woman died in mysterious circumstances in her house in ADC Colony in the limits of civil line police station in Jacobabad on Wednesday.

Ms Bilqees, 30, wife of Zulfiqar Shah was seriously injured after suffering a bullet wound to her chest. Her relatives rushed her to the civil hospital where she was provided medical aid but she died.

The body was handed over to relatives after post mortem.

Syed Qasim Shah, father of the woman, told journalists that Ms Bilqees was cleaning the pistol when she accidentally pushed the trigger and the bullet hit her in the chest. She was seriously injured and later died, he said.

Police have registered a case of accidental death of woman.
