Karachi: A mother of three children committed suicide in her residence in the Ittehad Town police limits on Monday.Sobia Shaheen, 30, wife of Umar Bhatti, after an altercation with her husband locked herself in a room of her B-C residence in Abidabad situated in Baldia Town and hanged herself with a ceiling fan.
Her husband knocked at the door. When she did not respond he broke opened the door and saw her body hanging with a ceiling fan.He immediately informed the police who shifted her body to the Civil Hospital for legal formalities. Police said that Sobia was the wife of a traffic cop and on Monday after a quarrel with her husband she got disheartened and ended her life.
