Mother murdered her two children and cut their arms veins and also injured herself by committing suicide due to domestic feud in village Madherianwala.
According to police, Shagufta resident of village Madherianwala was married with Muhammad Shabbir resident of Noshara Virkan some years ago.
Few days before, she returned to his parents after developing differences with her husband. Her husband came to reconcile to her but she refused to do so. On Wednesday early in the morning, she cut arms veins of her two children 3-year-old Abdul Hadi and one and a half-year-old infant Abdul Rehman with sharp knife.
As a result of which, children were lost their breath on the spot while accused Shagufta also injured herself to commit suicide after killing her beloved children.
Police have shifted dead bodies to hospital for autopsy while Shagufta was shifted to Trauma Centre Hafizabad. Further investigations were underway.
