KANGANPUR: An innocent eight-year-old girl was killed after being raped here in the remit of Kanganpur Police on Saturday.
According to detail, the local spotted the dead body of a minor innocent girl in the nearby sugarcane fields and informed the local police. The police took the body into custody after reaching the spot. Later the deceased was identified as Mahjabeen, daughter of Fazal Din, a resident of Abadi Grid Station.
The father of the victim told that she had gone missing the other day. The local police registered a case. Kasur DPO Syed Khurram and Chunian DSP Sheikh Javed Iqbal rushed to the spot upon information and directed the police to trace out the real culprits as early as possible.
