ELLAH ABAD: A seven-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by a fiendish man here the other day.
As per detail, a minor girl (identity withheld), a resident of Molapur, situated in the remit of Chunian Police, was playing outside her house when Muhammad Akram, a resident of the same village, took her to his house where the accused sexually assaulted her. In the meanwhile, the innocent girl raised shrieks, forcing the accused to flee the scene. The girl was rushed to THQ Hospital Chunian from where she was referred to Children Hospital Lahore due to her critical condition. Her condition is said to be critical till filling of this report.
Meanwhile, there was no any let-up in the dacoits and robbery incidents even in the holy month of Muharramul Haram and the bandits took away cash, gold ornaments, cellphone and other valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees in several strikes.
According to details, a gang of three dacoits deprived a family of cash, gold and other valuables worth Rs4,56000 here. The incident occurred when three dacoits, riding a 125 motorcycle, stormed into the house of a landlord namely Rahmit Ullah, son of Khushi Muhammad, situated in Ellahabad ward number 2.
The culprits held the family hostage and later locked them in the kitchen. The dacoits searched the house for about one hour and made off with Rs10,600, seven tolas of gold ornaments and documents of a Honda 70cc (LED1989). The police are looking into the matter.
