LAHORE. A suspect was arrested over allegedly raping a minor girl on Saturday. The arrested suspect, identified as Mukhtiar, reportedly raped a minor girl in Kahna after barging into her house while her family was away. When the victim’s family came to know, they alerted police. A case was registered against the suspect after his arrest. Police said that they were investigating the matter further. Meanwhile, police arrested a suspected burglar who allegedly injured victims during a robbery bid in Islampura on Saturday. The arrested suspect, identified as Abu Bakar, reportedly shot and injured a citizen after he posed resistance during a burglary. Additionally, a suspected bike lifter was arrested and police recovered stolen mo torbikes, a weapon and valuables from his possess Sion. Police were investigating the aforementioned matters further.
