Karachi, Jan 05: Provincial Minister for Women Development Tauqir Fatima Bhutto Monday said Higher Education Commission would be recommended to include subject of women rights in course at college and university level.

This she said while presiding over a departmental meeting at her office. She said billboards would be installed at airports, railway stations, colleges and bus-stops to highlight protection of women and women’s rights.

She noted that a letter would be dispatched to PPO Sindh to make bound DPOs of all districts to submit a monthly report with her department regarding atrocities inflicted on women in their concerned districts.

He urged police officials to inform Women Center of her department timely about cases of violence on women and other crimes against them. “My department would provide legal aid to the affected women. PPO Sindh would also asked to increase number of women police stations, particularly establishment of such police stations in every district of the province,” she stated.

She hoped that these efforts would greatly help in raising awareness of women’s rights.
