Militants blow up girls school in Bannu

BANNU: Unidentified militants blew up a government-run school for girls in the jurisdiction of Saddar police station here on Thursday.
According to local residents militants planted improvised explosive devices at the government girls high school in Mandew area on the outskirts of Bannu.
The explosive devices went off with a big bang in the small hours of Thursday. As result one room and the boundary wall of the school were destroyed.
