RAWALPINDI. The Ratta Amral police on Wednesday arrested a suspect for allegedly
assaulting a woman. According to a spokesperson for the Rawalpindi Police, the victim lodged a
complaint stating that the accused, identified as Akmal, along with his accomplices, forcibly
entered her home and physically assaulted her. Following the registration of the case, police
apprehended Akmal, while raids are ongoing to arrest his ac-complices. A medical examination
of the victim has also been conducted. Meanwhile, Sadiqabad police arrested two suspects-
Abdullah and Rajab-for allegedly injuring a student, Umar Farooq, during a dispute at a hostel.
The altercation report-edly stemmed from a minor disagreement that escalated into physical
violence.
