LAHORE: A mother of four was poisoned to death by her husband with the help of his sister-in-law in the North Cantt area here on Sunday. Police said Ramazana was married to Javed Iqbal and she gave birth to four children.
Later, Javed allegedly developed illicit relations with his sister-in-law Raheela. The victim used to quarrel with her husband Javed over the issue. On the day of the incident, Javed informed Ramazana’s family that she had taken some poisonous substance, resulting in her death. Police have registered a case against Javed and Raheela on the complaint of the deceased’s brother Amanat. The body was shifted to a morgue.
