The incident occurred in Naseerabad area. The man died at a hospital while the condition of the woman was reported to be critical.
Investigators said that Bashir Faqir gunned down George Masih and wounded Tasliya Anayat at the Gulbahar Colony residence. Faqir fled from the scene.
The complainant Johnson Anayat told the police that Bashir forced his entry into the house and opened fire on his wife and George. “The man got infuriated after seeing his wife and the man in an objectionable condition,” a man who was at the crime scene said.
