Man kills wife, relative over domestic dispute

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, March 27,2005: A woman and her cousin were killed and three other relatives were injured in the Majeed Soomro village in the Naushahro Feroze police area on Friday night.

Ghulam Hussain Soomro shot dead his wife, Razia, and her cousin Khaliq alias Punhal, 14, and injured brothers-in-law Tufail and Jaleel Soomro and one relative Amanullah. The reason behind the incident was said to be a domestic dispute.

Police on the complaint of Shakeel lodged an FIR under section 302, 324, 147, 148, 149 and 114 PPC against Ghulam Hussain, Mohammad Umer, Nazir Ahmed, Mukhtar Ahmed, Riaz Hussain and Muharam Soomro.

The bodies and injured were taken to the Naushahro Feroze Civil Hospital from where Tufail and Jaleel Soomro were referred to a Nawabshah hospital.Police arrested accused Ghulam Hussain, his brother Nazeer and father Umer Soomro.
