SHIKARPUR – A man killed his daughter and brother over propertydispute at village Jindo Dero near Madeji Town, in the limits of Madeji Police Station, some 40 kilometers off from here, on Tuesday morning.
According to Sher Afsar, SHO PS Madeji, that an accused namely Shahzado Shaikh opened fire on his brother Ghulam Hussain Shaikh, 35, and suddenly his daughter Afroze, 18, came before her uncle to rescue him. Resultantly, both were killed over property dispute developed between two brothers. The accused managed to escape from the scene.
Area police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to Madeji Hospital for postmortem and handed over to their heirs after completing medical legal formalities, SHO maintained.
SHO further said that police arrested accused Shahzado when he was trying to flee from Madeji towards somewhere else. A case was to be registered against him, SHO concluded.
