KARACHI: A young man was stabbed to death and a 20-year-old woman was critically wounded allegedly by her brother in Quaid-i-Azam Colony in the name of so-called honor, police said.
The Mobina Town police station said M. Sheraz stabbed his sister, Gulnaz Siddique, 20, and cousin, Majid Hussain, 22, with a knife.
They were taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where the man died during treatment.
The police claimed to have arrested Sheraz and recovered the knife from the scene. Area SHO Faizul Hasan said that the suspect confessed that he did it in the name of so-called honor. He added that the alleged killer had no regrets.
The police said both the victims were cousins and liked each other.
