KABIRWALA: Police have arrested a man on the charge of acid attack on a married woman.

According to Abdul Hakeem police, accused Shakeel of Mohallah Eidgah was allegedly teasing Sumaira Bibi, wife of Muhammad Arshad, and forcing her to develop relationship with him.

The woman informed her husband and in-laws about the matter. Sumaira was on her way when the accused allegedly threw acid on her and fled. Later, the police arrested the accused.

The woman sustained burns on her face and arms and shifted to RHC Abdul Hakeem.
