Karachi: A sessions court awarded 20 years’ imprisonment to a man on double counts for killing his wife and three-year-old daughter after suspecting that his wife was indulging in infidelity developing suspicion of infidelity in 2002 within the remit of the Model Colony police station.
The convict was awarded a total of 40 years sentence and both the counts would run concurrently.
The court found Nisar Qureshi guilty of killing his wife Farhat and daughter. The judge also imposed a Rs0.1 million fine on each count to be paid to the legal heirs of the deceased and in case of default the convict would have to undergo additional six months imprisonment.
