NAROWAL: A young man committed suicide after killing a mother of five over some dispute in Sialkot.
Zeeshan Butt (24), a resident of Sialkot’s neighbouring village Sadhe Chak, barged into the house of a 40-year-old woman of the same locality, and shot her dead. After killing the woman, Zeeshan committed suicide by shooting himself.
On the information of the murder, an investigation team of the Kotli Loharan police station reached the spot. The police team recorded the evidence and statements of eyewitnesses.
A forensic team reached the spot and obtained various samples and sent them to the lab.
Khurram Shahzad, spokesperson for district police Sialkot, said according to locals, the man had an alleged affair with the woman. He said police are investigating every aspect of the murder incident.
Ashiq Ali, a local resident, said the husband of the woman was staying abroad for work. Kotli Loharan police shifted the bodies for autopsy.
