BUREWALA – Police arrested a man for torching her wife at Chak No 293/EB late Sunday. The victim was admitted to THQ Hospital. Her body bore burn marks. Asghar Ali, son of Fateh Sher, tied the knot with Nargis Bibi 3 years ago. They had domestic deputes over petty issue.
Nargis Bibi alleged that her husband tortured her after consuming narcotics. Though police arrested Asghar Ali and SHO Mirza Jameel Hussain confirmed the torture, no case was registered till filing of this report.
