RAWALPINDI: A man charged with throwing acid on his wife was booked by the Civil Lines police on Sunday.

The police officials said the victim had filed a case against her husband, Nazuk, and brother-in-law, Sharafat. The husband was charged with throwing acid on his wife after a domestic brawl and went into hiding.

Rawalpindi City Police Officer (CPO) Muhammad Ahsan Younus took notice of the incident. Police immediately arrested Sharafat while the prime suspect has been booked too. The police have started investigation.
