MULTAN: Police have recovered the bodies of a boy and a girl from the fields near Mauza Billiwala on Thursday. Police have also recovered a letter from the site. According to the letter, Farhan Ahmad and Maria Khan had fallen in love with each other and wanted to marry but their families were against it. When contacted, Farhan’s father Muhammad Amin said that he repeatedly asked his son to take interest in work to earn livelihood, but he did not follow the advice. He said that Farhan and Maria left their houses on Wednesday afternoon. The girl’s uncle said that Maria and Farhan ended their lives by eating poisonous substance.
