LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Saturday sought a report on an acid attack on a female lawyer by her husband.
The The Lahore High Court directed the Lahore district and sessions judge to look into the matter and submit a detailed report regarding steps taken by the police so far along with his own comments within a week.
Mansoor Shahzadi suffered burns on her shoulders after her husband Zeeshan threw acid on her at their residence on Lajpat Road in Shahdara.
The police suspected that Zeeshan threw acid on his wife following a dispute. Shahzadi was shifted to a hospital.
The police registered a case and started investigations.
