LAHORE: A group of lawyers on Thursday manhandled a woman and her three sons who had come to the sessions court for their case hearing.
On Thursday morning, Maqsooda Bibi, a resident of Shahdara, along with her three sons, Mian Shahid, Mian Waisf and Mian Zahid, came to the sessions court on their bail hearings in an alleged brawl case.
After the case hearing, when they came out of the court, a lawyer, Arshad Khan, along with four other unknown lawyers, stopped them and started beating them.
Arshad and his accomplices gave a good thrashing to Maqsooda Bibi and her three sons. No one stopped the lawyers while they were thrashing the woman and her sons.
Later, the judicial staff and litigants saved the victims from the aggressive lawyers and shifted them to the Mayo Hospital.
The Islampura police got registered a case against the lawyers.
