Female lead of Parwaaz Hai Junoon, Hania Aamir, who is currently busy with the promotions of her upcoming film, has been in the news for quite some time now.
Just a few days ago the actor took to social media and claimed that she was “harassed by men disguised as fans”, followed by reports suggesting that Hania misbehaved with the media and waiters at a local eatery where the promotional meet and greet was happening.
While some media persons have even demanded to boycott the actor due to her rude behavior, her friend and colleague Kubra Khan, who plays a cameo in the upcoming air force movie, has spoken up on the subject, defending Hania Aamir.
Kubra took to social media and shared that there are always two sides to a story. “There is a line. Always, it shouldn’t be crossed. Even if you think something or someone is your property,” she wrote on her official Twitter handle.
“Respect should always be maintained,” she added. “If it’s not, there will be a reaction. That reaction is called defense. And I believe there is nothing wrong with that.
I’m not saying this because I am friends with Hania but because seeing the scenario of grown a** people attacking a young girl who only wanted some privacy doesn’t sit right with me. Rash reactions can cause a lot more damage than your 5 seconds of glory reports.”
Parwaaz Hai Junoon is slated to hit cinemas on August 22. Till then, we’ll have to wait and see how things roll.
